6 FACTS THAT MAKE ME STAND FOR CHRISTMASS

I have been seeing a lot of talk from those who are against Chrismas and from their viepoint, December 25 was a day that was set for pagan worship, only that church leaders of the time, initiated it as a day to celebrate the birth of Christ. To there understanding therefore, the Dec 25th celebration is pagan and has no roots in Christianity

Below are SIX facts that makes me stand for Chrismass

1: Afterall Christ was born-we may not know the date when he was born but then, if you don’t want us to celebrate Christ’s birth on DEC 25,give AS A DATE, because we still want to celebrate the birth of the greatest man who ever lived on this earth,”our savior Jesus Christ”.

2:In Genesis 1,we see God creating 6 days in a week and he rested on the 7th day-and he said “it was good!.On that note,i have never seen a day which he put aside for the worship of satan nor did he didicate one for the devil. Actually,every morning when we wake up,God’s word reminds us,”The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.[Psalm 118:24].

According to me,this means all days belong to the Lord-and there is no special day for satan in the bible-so Dec 25 is not aday for pagan worship but all days in a yr must be utilized to worship one person-JESUS CHRIST.

3:Romans 14:5-6 has this command to every believer- “One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord.

According to this verse,those who are against those who treat Chrismass as a special day,should get there warning and keep silent.Remember the last word in that verse-Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord.!

4:All other religions have special days to celebrate the one who started their religion.From Islam,Budhiism etc,again honestly-Christ is King and Lord over the world-when do you want us to celebrate his birth!

5:How do you feel when you go to pagan shops and supermarkets-and for once in a yr,”they wish every customer a Merry Chrismass!Me i get excited with the fact that every one on earth and in business has to set time to decorate his shops-put the lights and make Christ of Chrismass be displayed to all to see.I know many who do not know Christ ask questions of what is Chrismass,and if you happen to be the one wh0 was asked,will you not take advantage of the oppotunity to lead someone to Christ?Afterall,as it’s written,”at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,in heaven and on earth and under the earth,and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father.[Philippians 2:10]

Let’s not stop people from bowing to Christ on Chrismas.It’s a biblical duty that must happen on earth,just as it will be in heaven

6:If a non-believer asks you about Christmass,will you still start aguing with them while saying how it has pagan roots or will you share Christ the King,and how it relates to his birth? Pharisees in the bible always kept aguing over the law and it never pleased God.The bible says they even hindered others from reaching God.Arguments always hinder people from reaching God and his Christ-Matthew 23:13 says,”Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter,nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

My question is,why be the one God will one day accuse,just because you would not let them enter when they tried doing so?

Brethren,Christ was not born on December 25,but what a priviledge,when a pagan day[which was created by God anyway],was used to worship and celebrate his birth? Satan has no day of worship because all days, month and every second God gives us,is for his worship.God bless you
